The base powder is fed into the rotor chamber in a dosed way. As soon as the product reaches the finisher rotor, the product is accelerated and forced trough the sieve plate in the bottom section of the finisher. Coarser particles which do not pass through the sieve will be broken by impaction of the rotor.
Capacity:
Depending on product characteristics (texture, grain size) powders can be crushed within a range of 500 and 2000 microns. With the Hosokawa finisher products can be processed at a capacity up to 40 cubic meters per hour.
